Description

What are the most common problems your employees face? Are they meaty, sink-your-teeth-into problems, or slight annoyances? Do they require intensive analysis or a quick decision? Although most people may encounter a wide range of issues in their work, everyday problems make up a significant proportion of the problems that need to be solved. Having the right problem-solving techniques can make all the difference.


It's possible that you and your participants have been taught complex problem-solving techniques that can be effective for handling major issues, but they may take a lot of time and effort to execute. These methods may not be very suitable for urgent problems that demand immediate decision making and action.


Problem Solved was designed to provide participants with problem solving techniques that don't sacrifice work efficiency or quality.

How it works

Problem Solved provides participants with a simple problem-solving technique while assessing their skill level during each step. Participants are read an in-depth scenario and respond to 25 behavior-related statements that indicate the extent to which they practiced the behavior. By scoring and charting results, they create a visual depiction of their comfort level with each of the five problem-solving steps.

  2. Analyze the causes
  3. Identify and choose solutions
  4. Plan actions
  5. Monitor results

By the end of this assessment, participants will:

  • Learn an effective way to solve everyday problems.
